Tim, British born, spent many years learning about Bed & Breakfasts, as his family ran a prosperous business in the South of Devon, England. He has a degree from the South Devon Technical College in Hotel Administration. After college, he emigrated to Bermuda where he continued his joy of working in the Hospitality Service industry in hotels and finally managed a well-known seafood restaurant, The Fisherman’s Reef. His love of traveling brought about his meeting Gayle in Cancun, Mexico, in 1982. One year later, this shipboard romance ended in marriage bringing Tim to Wisconsin. With his wealth of industry knowledge and know-how, Tim returned to the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee to receive a Bachelors Degree in Adult Education and a Masters Degree in Administrative Leadership. His education and experience lent itself well to teaching at Waukesha County Technical College in the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Department for 11 years where he moved on to become the Associate Dean of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Global education until he retired in 2010 to go back to his roots of the B&B business. Gayle, born and raised in WI, has worked throughout her career in a variety of organizations from Federal Civil Service, hotels, Fortune 500 companies, and 20 years in health care administration. Gayle continued her education receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University and began teaching at private colleges for five years. She continued her studies at the UW- Milwaukee receiving her Masters in Administrative Leadership. She returned to the business environment where she worked for five years as Special Projects Manager for the President of Waukesha County Technical College, and then moved on to the position of Account Manager for Corporate and Community Training at the college coordinating training for community businesses and organizations. Gayle looks forward to sharing with husband Tim the enjoyment of working in the Hospitality industry using her excellent culinary skills while Tim offers customized and personalized tours of the area.  Their goal is to ensure everyone who visits Whispering Pines B&B will leave relaxed, pampered, and having had a little taste of being in heaven.
